Course description Golfclub Erding Grünbach
The Erdinger Land region has two faces. There are the open, wide expanses – the Erdinger Moos, made famous by Munich's major airport, northwest of Erding. East of Erding, we have the terminal moraine landscape, shaped by the last Ice Age. The Erding-Grünbach Golf Club is located in this gently rolling terrain.

The clubhouse stands at the highest point of a hilltop; holes 1-9, with their driving range, begin on one side, and holes 10-18 and the short game area on the other. Holes 10-18 were built in the early 1970s. The first holes resemble a park. The trees and shrubs planted in the early years have grown majestic; they line the holes and force players to play carefully. It's advisable to play strategically here to secure good starting points for each shot. Wild, long balls can make progress significantly more difficult.
Holes 1-9 are quite different: Built in the late 1980s and early 1990s, they are considerably more open, and a bad shot is more likely to be forgiven. On this side of the course, if you take the time, you also have a magnificent panoramic view of the Upper Bavarian cultural landscape with its farms and baroque churches. Each hole on the entire course has its own special charm, something the Erdinger golfers are particularly proud of. At the end of a round, even the visiting player will still remember each hole, as each has its own unique characteristics.
